Smiling woman in soft natural light, conveying comfort and support
Background

From a young age, I struggled with anxiety and self-doubt. I often felt out of place and overly self-conscious, constantly worried about how others perceived me. Following my parents’ divorce, these feelings intensified, eventually leading to panic attacks. Seeking therapy was a turning point in my life. The experience not only provided relief but also ignited my passion for the field of mental health. Through therapy, I felt truly seen and supported for the first time—and I knew I wanted to offer that same experience to others.

During my undergraduate studies, I joined a research lab focused on social anxiety. This work deepened my understanding of how anxiety affects both the mind and body. I became especially interested in how thoughts can trigger physiological responses—and how approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can empower individuals to manage anxiety and regain a sense of control.

I also contributed to research examining the Dark Tetrad personality traits: narcissism, psychopathy, sadism, and Machiavellianism. This background informs my work with clients who have experienced emotionally abusive or manipulative relationships. I understand how these dynamics can create confusion, self-doubt, and emotional pain. My goal is to help individuals process these experiences, reclaim their sense of self, and move forward with clarity and strength.

In addition to individual work, I am deeply passionate about helping couples build and sustain healthy, lasting relationships. Using the Gottman Method, I guide couples in exploring relational patterns, improving communication, and fostering connection through trust, friendship, and shared meaning.

Today, I integrate evidence-based practices—including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based strategies—to support clients in achieving meaningful change. I work with adults and couples across California, offering virtual therapy in a compassionate, affirming, and goal-oriented environment.
